What is an SS Receiver?
An SS Receiver (also called a receiving vessel, hold tank, surge tank, or collection vessel) is used to collect, buffer, store, or dispense product between upstream and downstream operations—such as filtration, mixing, filling, or CIP return. RK Fabrication builds receivers for:

Engineering Standards & Compliance:
Our SS receivers are fabricated using TIG/GTAW welding with crevice-free joints, pickled and passivated for hygienic performance. Each unit undergoes hydrostatic and dye penetrant testing, ensuring leak-free and robust construction.

Design Codes: ASME Section VIII Div.1 (on request), Good Engineering Practice (GEP), IS standards where applicable.

Welding: TIG/GTAW with qualified WPS/PQR; orbital welding for sanitary lines on request.

Testing: Dye penetrant (DP), hydrostatic/pneumatic tests, weld visual and boroscope checks, ferrite content (if required), surface roughness mapping.
